Atlas Van Lines has announced the promotion of Ryan Parmenter to senior director of enterprise architecture. Ryan has more than 20 years of experience at Atlas and most recently served as the company’s director of architecture and integration.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the efforts of integration, architecture and digital transformation from a technology perspective. He will oversee development of the Atlas Digital Ecosystem to deliver seamless user experiences for the company as well as its agents, clients and vendors.
David Smith, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Atlas Van Lines said, “Ryan’s breadth of experience at the company, coupled with his extensive IT knowledge, is invaluable to our organisation. His role is crucial in ensuring all our partners and stakeholders have access to the real-time information they need to keep all aspects of our work properly integrated and moving forward.”
Since joining Atlas in 2001, Ryan has held positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s IT department, including lead software developer, IT development director and director of architecture and integration. Prior to Atlas, he developed key business applications for ARS Group, a leading communication research agency based in Evansville, Indiana, USA.
Ryan said, “I am honoured to grow in my new role with Atlas Van Lines and work alongside my team in our continued digital transformation. I look forward to further supporting all technology integration efforts to keep us at the forefront of service and innovation in the industry.”
