Belgian chamber helps protect consumers

The Belgian Chamber of Movers (CBD-BKV) has recently launched a new website aimed at protecting consumers from rogue traders.  The new site, www.demenageursagrees.be, is a new national platform that helps consumers find only trusted, accredited moving companies. In a recent press release the Chamber said that the initiative is supported by the Federal Public Service SIRS and consumer group Test Achats, and sends a strong signal that the era of cowboy movers is over.

“Our collaboration restores trust,” said Koen Vangoidsenhoven, Director of the CBD-BKV. “Together, we stand for quality and customer satisfaction. This is a milestone towards a healthier, fairer moving industry.”

The platform is available in French (www.demenageursagrees.be) and Dutch (www.erkendeverhuizers.be).
