Conroy acquires Whybirds - EUROMOVERS
06 Nov 2024

The Conroy Group in Australia and New Zealand, has announced the official integration of Whybirds Removals & Storage in Brisbane and Darwin into the company’s services.

The acquisition became effective on 4 November 2024, with Conroy assuming operations at both branches.

Conroy Co-Founder and Managing Director, David Conroy, said that this is an exciting move for the family business. “We are honoured to be adding one of the oldest and most trusted names in Australian removals to the Conroy group,” he said.  “We now have 15 branches throughout New Zealand and Australia. It is fantastic to be growing our services in Australia.”

The company said that the addition of these two branches, along with a dedicated team of over 30 staff members and nine trucks, significantly strengthens the Conroy network.  Furthermore, this acquisition enables Conroy to join the Australian Movers Group (AMG), broadening its network with other industry partners and ensuring that it continues to support Whybirds’ customers.
