Environmental awards for ISS in Dubai

ISS Relocations in Dubai has won the Arabia CSR & Sustainability Award and the PAIMA Juan Peralta Ecology Award 2024 for its efforts on Social Responsibility and Sustainability.

Ther Arabia CSR & Sustainability Award is now in its 17^th cycle.  It is presented by the Arabia CSR Network, established in 2004 to recognise and develop ESG strategies, policies and practices among the businesses, public sector organisations, institutions, and communities in the MENA region. The Award has become known as the ‘Green Oscar of the Middle East’.  The PAIMA Juan Peralta Ecology Award was presented by PAIMA to ISS for its efforts in protecting the environment through various sustainable activities in the Arabian region.

The company’s focus was on integrating environmental aspects into day- to-day operations to reduce its carbon footprint.  These included: The formation of a CSR & Sustainability Core Team to create a platform for planning, adapting, and continuously reviewing Corporate Responsible actions among the stakeholders; implementing new systems and policies including ISO 14000, ISO 26000 and EcoVadis; a variety of CSR initiatives such as tree planning, a waste management system and community welfare programmes; and sustainability reporting.
