EUROMOVERS in Dublin

EUROMOVERS International held its annual conference in Dublin, Ireland, from 29 May to 1 June, 2025.  As usual at EUROMOVERS, the event was well attended with virtually all delegates taking part in both the business and social events.

The conference, hosted by Stephan Strauss, Chairman of the EUROMOVERS Executive Board, was held at the very comfortable Hyatt hotel close to the centre of the city.  As well as the business sessions the delegates amused themselves with a treasure hunt around the city, which included the opportunity to learn Irish dancing, sing ‘Molly Malone’ alongside the iconic statue, and try their hand at pulling a perfect pint of Guinness. There were also organised evening events held at the Guinness Storehouse and Teeling distillery, one of the oldest in Dublin.

Careline was a major sponsor for the conference.  The company held a reception at its Dublin depot which included a tour of one of the industry’s best equipped training facilities.

AI was the main topic of discussion during the business sessions. Bilal Zafar with the expert keynote speaker who is about to release his new book entitled ‘The smartest friend we’ve ever had’.  Between Bilal’s presentation, and an extended panel discussion, the delegates were all given practical tips to help them integrate AI into their business practices.

EUROMOVERS International records tonnage shipped within the Group and also, uniquely, ranks its members for their quality of service and financial responsibility.  PSS International ran away with the award for top booker and was first in Administration. PSS shared the honours with Gebr. Roggendorf for 1st in Quality.    Gebr. Rogendorf also took the award as 1^st for Financial Responsibility.  Other significant honours went to Wilhelm Rosebrock in Germany, Invictus Relocation Services in Portugal, and NEDRAC in the USA.  Tonnage shipped through the group in 2024 was a new record, over 30% up on 2023, itself a record year.

The Euromovers conference in 2026 will be held in Dubai.
