12 Jun 2023

Atlas World Group, Inc., the parent company of Atlas® Van Lines, has announced the promotion of Stacie Banks to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Atlas World Group. Her appointment to this key leadership role in the company is effective immediately and continues her 21-year tenure at Atlas.

Stacie first joined Atlas as the Director of Tax and Internal Audit and has progressed through a number of critical financial roles, including Senior Director of Corporate Finance, Vice President of Finance and, most recently, Senior Vice President of Logistics and Treasury. She has been instrumental in administering the Atlas SALTA Captive, maintaining relationships with key lenders, and providing oversight for Atlas Van Lines’ insurance and risk programs. She also played a crucial role in due diligence and onboarding Atlas’ recent acquisitions to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

“We are thrilled to see Stacie move into the CFO position,” said Jack Griffin, Chairman and CEO of Atlas World Group. “Not only is it a natural progression in her Atlas career, but she also has the leadership expertise to guide the organisation in all financial-related endeavours. We look forward to seeing her succeed in this role and the positive impact it will have across the organisation.”

As Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Banks will be responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of Atlas World Group and its subsidiaries. She will also be instrumental in building and growing relationships with external organisations.

“I am grateful to be able to grow in my career with Atlas and oversee financial strategies that support the organisation’s business and fiscal objectives,” said Stacie. “It has been an honour to work alongside our talented team these past two decades, and I am excited to build on our momentum.”

Stacie is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Murray State University.
