Bishop’s Move has launched its ‘white glove’, premium home moving service, Platinum Move, with a ‘sparkling’ new addition to its fleet of removal vans.
The new truck was built with the assistance of specialist coachbuilders, SBR, and features Bishop’s Move’s traditional branding but in a ‘sparkling’ platinum finish. It will operate from the company’s removals and storage warehouse near Gatwick.
The 18-tonne DAF CF has been purpose-built to allow for a crew of four and includes a sleeping pod for overnight or European services. The ‘Platinum Move’ removals truck also has enhanced air suspension and important safety features to comply with Direct Vision Standard (DVS) standards, including additional cameras to improve driver awareness and meet London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards.
Managing Director of AGM Bishops Ltd, Al Bingle, commented, “We are always looking at how to improve our customers’ experience and this has led to the creation of a new, truly bespoke, moving service – ‘Platinum Move’. As we raise the standards in the relocation industry, this new vehicle livery reflects the high level of service that our customers can now exclusively experience from Bishop’s Move.”
